Citizen Rec, an Australian-inspired café, is coming to Webster this fall, according to a news release from the café.
What's special about it?
The concept will be a café by day and an upscale Aussie pub by night, the release notes.
Breakfast items will include scratch-made dishes, such as the miso-butterscotch banana bread toast and the Australian big breakfast.
Menu highlights for the pub include steak and Guinness chef pie, barramundi fish and chips, an oyster and Guinness shooter, Guinness bread with house-made Vegemite-marbled butter, Timtams tiramisu and classic shrimp on the barbie cooked on live fire.

"Aussie cafes have become a phenomenon globally, and we've loved bringing that to life here in the U.S.," Citizen Co-Founder Andrew Geisel said in the news release. "We want to further immerse our locals in Aussie culture with our version of a pub, bringing playfulness and adventure to what we hope will become their new favorite spot."
