Brazoria County has reported 13 new cases of COVID-19 on May 12, bringing the county total to 686.

Within that total case count, there are 328 active cases, 349 recoveries and nine deaths.

Pearland has seen 242 total reported cases of COVID-19, with 53 active cases, 184 recoveries and five deaths. Two active cases that were reported today are Pearland residents.

The other 11 cases consist of seven Texas Department of Criminal Justice inmates, two Iowa Colony residents, two Angleton residents and one Alvin resident.
