There are now a total of 151 cases of the new coronavirus in Brazoria County, with eight cases being reported over the weekend and seven reported on Monday, April 6. There have been three more recoveries, bringing the total number of recovered individuals to 28.

A previous case has moved to the county where the individual lives, lowering the total number of active cases in Brazoria County by one. The Brazoria County Health Department has reported six new coronavirus cases, raising the total number to 39 cases. Two of the six cases are men from the Pearland area between the ages of 35-45 and 65-75, one is an Alvin man between the ages of 35-45, one is an Angleton woman between the ages of 25-35, one is a girl from Clute between the ages of 5-10 and one is a Rosharon woman between the ages of 70-80. One of the Pearland cases is not travel-related. The rest are under investigation. There have been three more fully recovered cases, bringing the total to four completed recoveries.

Brazoria County has five new coronavirus cases, bumping the count to 33 cases. Three of the cases are Pearland residents, one is a Manvel resident and one is an Alvin resident. One of the individuals is hospitalized in a Houston hospital.

The Brazoria County Health Department is reporting its 19th coronavirus case, a woman between the ages of 50 and 60, who lives in Lake Jackson. The case was not travel-related.

Brazoria County is reporting two more coronavirus cases, resulting in 18 total cases. The individuals are a man between the ages of 60 and 70 who resides in Rosharon and a man between the ages of 30 and 40 who resides in Angleton.

The number of cases in Brazoria County grew from 10 to 16 over the weekend. Of the six new cases, two are Angleton-area residents, two are Pearland-area residents, one is a Clute-area resident and one is a Rosharon-area resident. While three of the cases are not travel related, the county is investigating whether the other three are.

The number of coronavirus cases in Brazoria County has doubled, bringing the total to 10. Four of the five new cases are Pearland-area residents, who are all recovering at home in isolation. Brazoria County reported its fourth coronavirus case. The individual is a man between the ages of 55 and 65 who resides in the Manvel area. The individual is hospitalized and in stable condition.

The Brazoria County Health Department reported its first two presumptive positive cases of COVID-19, or new coronavirus, according to a press release sent out by the county. The individuals live in the same household in the Alvin area and self-reported, according to the release. The individuals also had not traveled outside the Houston area recently, but did attend the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Cook-Off and Events, according to the release. The Brazoria County Health Department is conducting an investigation to identify contacts the individuals may have had, according to the release.
