The Brazoria County Health Department has reported six new coronavirus cases, raising the total number to 39 cases. Two of the six cases are men from the Pearland area between the ages of 35-45 and 65-75, one is an Alvin man between the ages of 35-45, one is an Angleton woman between the ages of 25-35, one is a girl from Clute between the ages of 5-10 and one is a Rosharon woman between the ages of 70-80. One of the Pearland cases is not travel-related. The rest are under investigation. There have been three more fully recovered cases, bringing the total to four completed recoveries.

Of the six new cases, two are Angleton-area residents, two are Pearland-area residents, one is a Clute-area resident and one is a Rosharon-area resident. While three of the cases are not travel related, the county is investigating whether the other three are.

The Brazoria County Health Department reported its first two presumptive positive cases of COVID-19, or new coronavirus, according to a press release sent out by the county. The individuals live in the same household in the Alvin area and self-reported, according to the release. The individuals also had not traveled outside the Houston area recently, but did attend the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Cook-Off and Events, according to the release. The Brazoria County Health Department is conducting an investigation to identify contacts the individuals may have had, according to the release.
