The city of Pearland will close all city facilities to public access beginning March 24 through April 12. The city will also stagger schedules, allow telecommuting and reduce crews on-site within the city, according to a press release sent out by the city. This is being done to slow the spread of the coronavirus, according to the release.
City officials will still be available over the phone and email for citizens, according to the release. Residents are also encouraged to complete services online as well, the press release stated.
The city may decide to extend this closure by April 6.
