A 296-unit multifamily development is up for consideration at Pearland City Council’s Nov. 9 meeting.
What residents need to know
Rockport Ventures, the developer behind Delta Pearland, is proposing a new 296-unit multifamily development after City Council denied a rezoning request at its Jan. 12 meeting for a similar 315-unit development.
The land, which sits north of Magnolia Parkway and west of Manvel Road, is currently zoned to permit business and professional office development.
The development would consist of three buildings which are three stories tall and include surface parking as well as:
A clubhouse
Pool with outdoor grills
Dog park
Pocket park
An on-site sidewalk along the east side of the detention pond
Looking ahead
City Council will vote on the first reading of the ordinance to rezone the land at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 9 at City Hall, located at 3519 Liberty Drive, Pearland.
