Spring break is over, and the week offers a few events and things to keep in mind for Pearland and Friendswood residents.
City & county government
- The city of Pearland has completed the renovations at City Hall. Starting Monday, all Pearland City council, joint public hearings, and Planning and Zoning Committee meetings will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall at 3519 Liberty Drive, Pearland.
- Pearland City Council is having a joint public hearing with the Planning and Zoning Commission at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
- Friendswood’s Fourth of July Steering Committee is meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Friendswood City Hall, 910 South Friendswood Drive.
Community events
- The 15th annual Red Hat Literacy Luncheon is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Knights of Columbus, 2320 Hatfield Road, Pearland. 281-485-1000
