Update 10:36 p.m. With 96 of 120 precincts reporting in the U.S. House District 14 race, incumbent Randy Weber has emerged as the likely winner over challenger Michael Cole. Weber has garnered 159,061 votes to take 62 percent of the total. Cole has received 97,696 votes. Representatives of Weber were not ready to declare victory in the race. All results are unofficial until canvased.

Update 8:49 p.m. Galveston County has added early voting totals, giving Weber a larger advantage with all unofficial early voting numbers reported. Weber took 65,003 votes compared to 11,511 for Cole in Galveston County. Weber now leads with 62.8 percent of the early voting total.

Update 8:03 p.m. With Brazoria and Jefferson counties reporting early voting numbers, incumbent Randy Weber, R-Friendswood, boasts an early lead over Democratic challenger Michael Cole for U.S. House District 14. Weber tallied 66,733 votes, or 60.1 percent, in the two counties, while Cole grabbed 44,344 votes, or 39.9 percent. Early voting totals for Galveston County have not been posted. All results are unofficial until canvased.
