Corey's Kitchen at The Fillin' Station, a new restaurant and grill, opened in Alvin in late July, according to a social media post from the business. The restaurant's building formerly served as a filling station before becoming a mechanic shop and the restaurant's menu and interior decor nod to the building's past.

The restaurant's menu includes starters such as bone-in wings and a variety of items named for items in auto shops, such as "lug nuts" and "hub caps," according to the business' menu. It also serves burgers, sandwiches and hotdogs, as well as fries, among other menu items.
