2. Friendswood Children’s House
The staff at Friendswood Children’s House is made up of certified teachers who give children attention and direction. The Montessori-based curriculum and activities focus on language, math, motor and social skills. Fine arts is also integrated into the curriculum. The school offers two-, three- and five-day options. A summer program is also available.

3. Friendswood Christian School
This school is an early child development center that incorporates Christian principles into its academic plan. It offers two-, three- and five-day programs for children ages 6 weeks-5 years. 4. Little Shepherds at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church
This Mother’s Day Out program is affiliated with Good Shepherd Episcopal Church and strives to keep toddlers learning and moving. The age-appropriate curriculum includes music time, story time and snack time. The program is open on Wednesdays and Fridays or Tuesdays and Thursdays. The student-to-teacher ratio will be two teachers to 11 students. Enrollment is limited. Two- and four-day programs are available.

5. Encompass Academics
Encompass Academics will open its Mother Day Out program in fall 2019. The program is three days a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and provides a structured, loving, Christian environment. Children will be academically challenged with fun, hands-on learning with research-based and results-driven instruction. Students attend chapel, fine arts classes and literacy class. Children must be potty-trained.

6. Little Lambs Learning Center at Shepherd of the Heart
The center has options for two- and four-day programs, weekly chapel for all ages, different themes and something going on every month and goes by a homeschool curriculum. It also hosts classroom parties and Dr. Seuss Day. Snack and recess are provided. For all-day children, bagged lunch is required. 8. Eagle Heights Christian Academy
This academy is a fully accredited pre-K through 12th grade school that offers Mother’s Day Out, preschool and kindergarten programs. The school offers two-, three- and five-day-a-week options for Mother’s Day Out and pre-K. Mother’s Day Out is for children age 3 and younger; pre-K is for 3 and 4 year olds. Kindergarten is a five-day-a-week program. After-school programs are also available. The school offers Bible study classes for older children and Bible stories for Mother’s Day Out. Eagle Heights will start teaching Spanish for pre-K and up in fall 2019.

9. Heritage Christian Academy
This faith-based academy offers two-, three- and five-day programs for Mother’s Day Out for children ages 6 months-3 years. The school integrates Bible stories, songs, storytelling, arts and crafts, and outdoor play into daily curriculum. The school also offers a five-day curriculum for pre-K3 through fifth-grade students and provides separate supplementary care for early morning, midday and after-school periods. Children do not need to be enrolled at Heritage Christian Academy’s school to enroll in day care.

10. In His Steps Academy
This academy offers a Mother’s Day Out program with two-, three- and four-day-a-week options. The school also offers pre-K3, pre-K4 and kindergarten as well as A Bridge, or advanced pre-K4. The school provides care, education, activities and guidance rooted in Christian values for each child. Several curriculums are used with the A Beka curriculum forming the foundation, preparing children by promoting concepts of shapes, numbers, the alphabet, phonics and handwriting. Children attend chapel on a weekly basis and are given daily outdoor play opportunities as well as a new outdoor classroom. Spanish classes are available for all preschool classes, and music education is available to all children.

Montessori School of Downtown
The school offers three- and five-day, full-time or half-day programs across three of its Pearland-area campuses, including Shipra. The Montessori School of Downtown also provides outdoor play twice a day and physical education once a week for children in the preprimary program. Other offerings include technology classes, Spanish, art and music in addition to an academic curriculum. Extracurricular after-school activities—including yoga, dance, karate and other enrichment programs—provided by local vendors are also available.

The academy is an outreach ministry of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church and offers two- and four-day programs, including programs with an extended day option. The school embraces the whole child and strives to maintain a small-town community by encouraging parental involvement. Chapel is offered daily to teach children bible stories, prayer and Christian music. The school offers coach directed sports for an additional cost.

13. Tottenberry’s Private School
Tottenberry’s has two-day through five-day-a-week programs for day care and Mother’s Day Out. Day care is an all-day program; Mother’s Day Out lasts from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The school offers music and art while combining small-group work and one-on-one tutoring and offers Spanish, Bible study and physical education for children age 3 and older. Tottenberry’s also offers before- and after-school care with transportation for select schools.

14. World of Wonder Preschool
World of Wonder offers two-, three- and five-day options in a rural setting with room for outdoor exploration along with small classroom sizes and hands-on learning. All teachers are certified by the Texas Education Agency or have an early childhood certification.
