The overview
Established in 2006 by Janel Prator, The Puddery sells a variety of sweet treats, such as pudding, bread pudding and cheesecake on a stick. Special banana pudding flavors include caramel, oreo, strawberry and Biscoff.
The backstory
A self-proclaimed born entrepreneur, Prator said she knew she was destined to start her own business from a young age, as previously reported by Community Impact.
After she came up with a small pudding menu in 2006, she began selling it at local bake sales and community events and launched a food truck in California. After a few ups and downs running her business, Prator relocated November 2021 to Pearland, where she opened her first brick-and-mortar location.
