Those headed downtown this weekend will want to be aware of multiple closures on the 610 Loop near major roadways. Here are four major connector closures in Houston to help drivers plan ahead:

1. The eastbound connector ramp from 610 Loop South to I-45 is closed continuously until Sept. 30. Drivers can detour by taking the I-45 southbound connector ramp, exiting on Broadway and making a U-turn.

2. The eastbound connector ramp from Hwy. 290 East to 610 Loop is closed nightly from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. until Friday, April 7. Drivers can detour by taking the I-10 westbound direct connector and making a U-turn at the Wirt Road/Chimney Rock Exit to I-10 eastbound, which can be used to get to 610 northbound or southbound.

3. The westbound connector ramp from I-10 East to 610 Loop East is closed continuously from 9 p.m. on Friday to noon on Saturday. Drivers can detour by taking I-10 westbound and exiting on Mercury Drive, making a U-turn and taking I-10 eastbound to the 610 East Loop.

4. The eastbound and west bound connector ramps from I-10 East to 610 Loop North are closed continuously from 9 p.m. on Friday to noon on Saturday. Drivers can detour by taking the 610 South Loop and exiting Woodway Drive, making a U-turn and entering the 610 Loop North. One outside lane will be closed on the 610 Loop North from I-10 to Hwy. 290.
