The Montgomery County Precinct 3 project began in mid-October and is expected to be complete by mid-November. The construction takes place on Sawdust Road between Grogans Mill Road and Borough Park Drive in The Woodlands.
The project will create an access management lane by installing medians on the road.
“Phase 1 of our access management lanes started at the end of 2015 on Rayford Road,” said Evan Besong, Montgomery County Precinct 3 project manager. “We are beginning Phase 2 of this project on the Sawdust Road corridor. The purpose of the access management lanes is to improve traffic flow and increase safety for our drivers.”
Project cost details were unavailable as of press time.
