MainStreet America continues to evolve since opening in February 2013. The venue has added new products and technologies, a new rug gallery and new events for customers.
MainStreet America CEO Mike Feigin said each of the 12 homes—which customers can scour to research and purchase new products—regularly sees changes in terms of the paint colors, appliances and furnishings to keep the styles fresh for consumers.
“We want to continue to show the latest in home technology [and] products,” he said. “We’re just really trying to stay on the cutting edge.”
Customers scan the tags within every room of each house to learn more about each product in the room and place products on their own wishlists. The MainStreet America app added in the past year allows customers to manage their wishlists.
Parvizian Rug Gallery opened its second location within the venue in the fall, and special events at the venue continued to grow during the past year with the addition of car shows and wine dinners. The cooking school has also grown because of teambuilding activities for corporate events.
