According to unofficial results, incumbent Jack Cagle is projected to win the Harris County Precinct 4 commissioner race with 88 percent of precincts reporting.

Cagle has earned 117,331 votes, or 68 percent, while M.I. Badat earned 32 percent, or 54,789 votes.

Cagle has served as commissioner since October 2011 after he was appointed to replace former commissioner Jerry Eversole.

"I have to give credit to the folks I work with in the precinct every day who work hard for our constituents," Cagle said. "On Election Day I get the credit, but I'm grateful for their efforts in rendering good services."

Cagle will serve a four-year term on the Harris County Commissioners Court.

All results are unofficial until canvassed.
