Construction on new luxury apartments in Shenandoah, dubbed WoodLofts, is set to begin in early 2015. The apartments will be located at I-45 and David Vetter Boulevard.
"We're still early in the design process," said Zane Segal, of Zane Segal Projects, one of the developers of WoodLofts. "The completion date will be in the third to fourth quarter of 2016."
WoodLofts will offer two five- and six-story apartment buildings, and will be connected by a pedestrian sky bridge. The complex will include 350 units.
According to Zane Segal Projects, the first building, fronting I-45, will offer restaurants and shopping on the first floor with five levels of residence living. The second building will feature a wraparound parking garage with four stories of residence living. Both apartment complexes will feature underground parking.
The average size of an apartment at WoodLofts will be 900 square feet, and apartments range from studio-sized to three bedrooms. The apartments will feature wood flooring, island kitchens with granite countertops and cherry cabinets, built-in wine racks, walk-in showers and rain showerheads, according to Zane Segal Projects.
Outdoor amenities will include a dog park with a grooming station, a pool, whirlpool spa, outdoor gas grills and a bocce ball court.
According to Zane Segal Projects, the clubhouse will feature a concierge service, a game room with multiple TVs, a cyber caf and a fitness center. A high-level lounge offers views of The Woodlands and downtown Houston.
"The Skylounge on the sixth floor overlooking The Woodlands will be spectacular at sunset and for parties," Segal said.
The developers of WoodLofts include Kevin Kirton & Matthew Morgan of Buckhead Investment Partners and Carlos Gonzalez & Zane Segal of NorthGulf ZSP.
