A pair of medical care facilities is scheduled to open in the next year in the Harmony master-planned community on Rayford Road.
Texas Children's Pediatrics will open in the spring of 2015 at the corner of Rayford Road and Riley Fuzzel Road, while 24-Hour Elite Care ER will open in the fall of 2015 adjacent to the Texas Children's Clinic. Both facilities will be located near the entrance to the Harmony community.
Elite Care ER will offer 24-hour emergency care seven days per week with board-certified physicians and Registered Nurses with emergency room experience, said Bernard Kaplan of Kaplan Public Relations, which represents Harmony. The facility will feature a radiology department with on-site CT, X-ray and ultrasound, lab services and emergency trauma and critical care units.
Texas Children's Pediatrics will offer prenatal consultations, well-child visits, treatment of illnesses and minor injuries, vaccinations and immunizations. The facility will also provide preventive health care, school and sports physicals, hearing and vision screenings and health care and nutritional education.
"Quality, nearby pediatric and emergency care is a huge selling point for new home buyers, particularly young families," said Shannon League, director of marketing for Harmony. "We're certainly looking forward to having quality healthcare right at our front door."
