New Caney ISD Education Foundation golf tournament
Benefitting NCISD employees, the New Caney ISD Education Foundation’s fifth annual golf tournament will feature putting and cannon contests, two mulligans, a long drive and 19th hole tickets. Proceeds from the event will be used for scholarships for NCISD employees pursuing continuing education. Breakfast, lunch and on-course drinks will be served. As part of the Montgomery County Public Library’s summer reading program, the R.B. Tullis Branch Library will be hosting weekly movie watching events. Each movie event will be themed around a color in honor of the reading program’s theme of “Color Your World.” The schedule for June will include "The Incredibles" on June 6, "Fantastic Mr. Fox" on June 13, "Bee Movie" on June 20, and "Shrek" on June 27. Movie watchers of all ages are welcome.

Nonprofit The Kingwood Football League will be hosting its second annual golf classic event benefitting improvements for the organization’s facilities. The event will feature breakfast, lunch, swag bags, course games, raffles and a memorabilia silent auction.

Dads are invited to enjoy a classic and custom car show as well as a “Dad Rock” concert at Big Rivers Waterpark & Adventures. Dads also get one free beer and a free ride on the Vultures Dive ride. Live music will include performances from Weathered, a Creed tribute band, and Silver Side Up, a Nickelback tribute band. Presenters in the car show earn four free tickets.
