In less than one month, New Caney ISD schools will welcome students for the 2025-26 school year. Keep reading for need-to-know information ahead of the first day of school Aug. 6.
A quick note
According to an NCISD news release, school hours for the 2025-26 school year will be 8:30 a.m.-3:55 p.m. for elementary schools, 7 a.m.-2:25 p.m. for middle schools, and 7:45 a.m.-3:10 p.m. for high schools. The bell schedule will be:
- Doors open at 7:45 a.m. for elementary schools, 6:30 a.m. for middle schools and 7:15 a.m. for high schools
- First bell rings at 8:20 a.m. for elementary schools, 6:50 a.m. for middle schools and 7:35 a.m. for high schools
- The tardy bell rings at 8:30 a.m. for elementary schools, 7 a.m. for middle schools and 7:45 a.m. for high schools
- The school day ends at 3:55 p.m. for elementary schools, 2:25 p.m. for middle schools and 3:10 p.m. for high schools
Returning and new student registration for the 2025-26 school year opened July 15 for NCISD, according to the district’s news release. New students can register online here. Returning students can register online here.
