NCHS Dean of Instruction Amber Beard will serve as principal after the district’s board of trustees approved her promotion during an April 21 meeting. Beard will be replacing Jonathan Powell as principal, according to NCHS’ website.
“My goal is to ensure that our students have access to every opportunity possible and that they find their passion and the skills needed to carry them into the future,” Beard said via an NCISD news release.
