The Focaccia Bakery opened its second location—a food truck—at The Pickleball Zone in Porter in early April.

Two-minute impact

With an original location at 110 Sorters McClellan Road in Kingwood that opened in January 2024, The Focaccia Bakery is owned by brothers-in-law Stefan Mikhailovich and Mario Morales. The bakery offers European bread, Mexican pastries and sandwiches using the bakery's signature focaccia bread recipe.

In addition to its original brick-and-mortar location, the bakery is now serving customers from a food truck parked outside The Pickleball Zone, an indoor-only sports complex that opened in December.

What's changing?

Bakery officials noted hours of operation for both locations have also been adjusted:
  • Kingwood location: open Wed.-Fri. 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Sat.-Sun. 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m., closed Mon.-Tue.
  • Porter location: open Wed.-Sun. 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and 4-9 p.m., closed Mon.-Tue.
What else?

The Pickleball Zone features 10 indoor pickleball courts, a sports bar serving craft beer and cocktails, big-screen TVs and a state-of-the-art golf simulator. In addition to lessons and group classes, pickleball court rentals and membership opportunities are available
