A Kroger grocery store location in New Caney marked the completion of its recent remodel with a celebration on Sept. 12, said Shayna Barrett, corporate affairs manager for The Kroger Co., via a Sept. 17 email. Members of the community, including officials at New Caney ISD, attended the event.

Kroger’s remodel includes new decor and upgrades in the floral, bakery, seafood and produce departments, as previously reported. The store remained open during construction.

The remodel of Kroger’s New Caney location—located within Valley Ranch Town Center—began May 26.

Renovations at the neighboring Kroger at 3410 Northpark Drive, Kingwood were completed in June while the Kroger at 3820 Atascocita Road, Humble was updated in April.
