Local artists and photographers have two upcoming opportunities to display their work in community venues owned by the East Montgomery County Improvement District.
The big picture
Photographers can submit black-and-white photos to be considered for display in EMCID’s Caney Pines Convention Center in New Caney, according to an Oct. 12 social media post from EMCID. Submissions will be accepted through Oct. 23 at 2 p.m.
According to the post, the photos should “capture New Caney's character and the beauty of our surrounding natural landscapes.” The submitted photos should complement the center’s interior architecture.
