Officials with Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Humble announced the selection of Crystal Reiser to serve as the hospital’s chief executive officer, according to a June 4 news release.

Reiser said she was excited for the opportunity to lead the 78-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital, according to the release.
“I am excited to join the Encompass Health team in Humble,” Reiser said in the release. “The hospital is known for providing excellent patient care, and I am excited to support the work of our teams as they continue to be a pillar in our community.”
A closer look
Reiser is bringing more than 10 years of hospital experience to the CEO role, according to the release.
Craig Funk, president of Encompass Health’s Southwest region, touted Reiser’s hiring.
“Crystal is a long-standing leader in the community, and we are excited to have her join the Humble hospital as CEO,” Funk said in the release. “She is hard working, well respected and reflects the company’s core values. I am confident she will lead our teams well.”
Reiser earned a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University and a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University, according to the news release.
