Visit Mercer Botanic Gardens for a free workshop exploring the various methods in which rain barrels can be used to conserve water and reduce stormwater runoff, pollution and bacteria from entering Galveston Bay. Hosted by the Galveston Bay Foundation, the workshop will consist of a hands-on presentation as well as a Q&A session. Attendees interested in purchasing a rain barrel at the event are required to register on the event’s webpage.
