Families who would like access to fresh produce and milk can visit Redemption Square in the Generation Park development Aug. 1 and Aug. 15.
Generation Park partnered with nonprofit Diaz Music Institute to offer about 1,500 boxes over the two days, according to a news release from Integrate, the public relations company for Generation Park. The nonprofit creates opportunities through music education for all children.
The food distribution event takes place at behind Redemption Square at 255 Assay St., Houston, beginning at 8 a.m. Each day, roughly 750 vehicles will be served. Vehicles can enter Subsea Lane and travel north to West Lake Houston Parkway.
