Eat Drink HTX, a two-week event in which participating restaurants offer lower price points for prix fixe brunch, lunch and dinner menus, began Feb. 15 with one participating restaurant in the Humble area.

The event, which is being run by nonprofit Cleverley Stone Foundation—the organization also responsible for Houston Restaurant Weeks—will run until Feb. 28.

According to Katie Stone—daughter of Cleverley Stone Foundation founder and namesake Cleverley Stone—proceeds from the event will benefit nonprofits Houston Food Bank and Star of Hope Mission. Participating restaurants will make donations based on their sales, with $1 of every $15 meal, $2 of every $20 meal and $3 of every $25 meal going to the nonprofits.

“My mother knew and supported the mission of Star of Hope for many years,” Stone said in a statement. “We feel the work they do, specifically helping to feed and take care of women and children, is so important and empowering.”

One restaurant from the Lake Houston-Humble-Kingwood area is participating in the event, though the list of participant restaurants will continue to be updated as more restaurants join:
