Almost two weeks after all Texan adults became eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine, more than 143,000 doses have been administered in the seven ZIP codes in the Lake Houston area.

According to the Texas Department of State Health Services, 143,600 doses have been administered in the area and 53,356 residents have been fully vaccinated as of April 12. About 20,000 doses have been administered in the last week

ZIP code 77339 in the western portion of Kingwood has had the most doses administered at 22,038 doses. However, ZIP code 77345 on the east side of Kingwood has the highest percentage of its population vaccinated at 63.37%.
