One week after all Texan adults became eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine, more than 120,000 doses have been administered to residents in the seven ZIP codes in the Lake Houston area as of April 5. This is a 22% increase over the course of a week.

According to the Texas Department of State Health Services, 122,628 doses have been administered, and 42,231 people have been fully vaccinated. This is a 33% increase in fully vaccinated residents from last week.

Several ZIP codes are nearing the 50% mark for vaccination. ZIP code 77345 has vaccinated about 55.59% of its population. ZIP code 77338 has the lowest percentage of vaccinated population at 27.23%.
