Try this: Dish Society does brunch the Texas way with brisket ‘n eggs. The dish comes with smoked and pulled Texas brisket with tomatillo relish, two cage-free sunny-side up eggs and a side of smoked-gouda grits. The plate also comes with a fluffy buttermilk biscuit. $14

Brunch cocktail: Management at Dish Society recommends brunchgoers try the frozen mimosa or a frozen lemonade. The mimosa is made with champagne and

Try this: Staff at Snooze recommend the pineapple upside-down pancakes. Texas Mesquite Grill

Try this: Management at Texas Mesquite said their most popular brunch items are the buttermilk pancakes and the country breakfast tacos. The buttermilk pancakes come in a stack of three flapjacks with butter and syrup and a side of bacon. $8.95 The country breakfast tacos come with the diner’s choice of two tacos with either  bacon or brisket in a warm tortilla stuffed with scrambled eggs. $7.95. Cheese may be added for $0.75.

Brunch cocktail: Wash down the brisket with the peach Bellini. The bartender serves this cold mix of champagne and peach liqueur in a wine glass. $4.95

Chicken and waffles is also available for someone wanting a traditional brunch. $10

Brunch cocktail: World of Beer serves their version of a mimosa with their Beermosa. The bartender uses the white wheat beer on tap to create this drink with the brew and a splash of orange juice. $4
