Every five years the Houston-Galveston Area Council updates its
Regionally Coordinated Transportation Plan. As part of the process, the public has several opportunities to comment on the plan's details.
H-GAC staff members Alan Rodenstein, Lydia Abebe and Kari J. Hackett will present information about the plan during the public meetings.
"This recent update has been under development for more than a year and is coordinated statewide through the Texas Department of Transportation-Public Transportation Division," said Hackett, H-GAC's manager of transportation planning.
Key features of the plan include an assessment of unmet transportation needs and recommendations.
