Katy City Council accepted the findings of state-mandated racial profiling data during a March 13 regular meeting.

City officials did not discuss the findings, but entered the nine-page document—submitted by Katy Police Chief Bill Hastings—into the record.

In other matters during the March 13 meeting, the council authorized Mayor Fabol Hughes to enter into an agreement with Shrickel, Rollins and Associates Inc. for improvements to Katy City Park.

Although improvements were not specified at the Katy meeting, the Arlington-based firm specializes landscape architecture, civil engineering and land planning.

Shrickel, Rollins and Associates Inc. has worked on North Park in Southlake, tennis complex at the University of Texas --- and the soccer complex at Texas Woman's University.
