Harvest Kitchen & Bakery opened June 10 at 21971 Katy Freeway, Katy. It is owned by Danny Casino and Lori Pope, who are siblings, and Pope is the chef de cuisine.
The restaurant serves a breakfast and lunch menu with items such as chicken and waffles, pork belly huevos rancheros, salads and sandwiches. All items—such as the artisan bread, waffles and tortillas—are made from scratch. Harvest Kitchen & Bakery also offers a vegetarian menu and can adapt recipes to adjust for dietary restrictions.
