Rubicon Realty Group is developing a 10-acre property at the southwest corner of the intersection of Clay and Peek roads, said Inna Gallagher, a principal with Rubicon Realty. The shopping center is under construction, and portions of it are expected to be complete by December of this year.

"We took 10 acres and split it into six tracts of different sizes," Gallagher said.

The six tracts will be developed, and all but the one will be sold, she said.

"There's going to be a 10,000-square-foot retail center, and we're going to build that ourselves," Gallagher said.

Snowflake Donuts and a dentist have already leased space in that retail center, which Rubicon will maintain ownership of. Two 7,500-square-foot retail spaces on the west side of the property will be built and sold by Rubicon. Combined, the retail space in the development will add up to about 15,000 square feet.

A Montessori school has purchased a 1.48-acre plot of land on the south side of the development and a 15,000-square-foot building will be built there for a new school, Gallagher said.

Gallagher said iShine Car Wash has purchased a 1.4-acre tract of land and will be installing a drive-thru car wash at the development.

Two additional tracks bordering Peek Road will be sold as-is at 1.76 acres and 2.01 acres in size, Gallagher said.
