GALLERY: Third Annual Katy Safety Fest hits 5K attendees, despite poor weather


Harris County Emergency Services District No. 48 and several other safety organizations serving the Katy area held the Third Annual Katy Safety Fest on Saturday, April 14. Simon VanDyk, public information officer for ESD No. 48 said that, despite inclement weather that day, more than 5,000 people attended the event, including local families, volunteers, first responders and participants in the National Stroke Association Fun Run.
