From animals and rock climbing to live music and workouts, this weekend has several options for Katy area residents to get out and get active.

Thursday-Sunday

1. 75th Annual Katy Livestock Show & Open Pro Rodeo


Katy ISD hosts the Future Farmers of America Livestock Show & Open Pro Rodeo. Youth compete and display their knowledge of agriculture and animal husbandry while the rodeo for adults will also feature a parade beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday. 7 p.m. each night. $10 (adult), $5 (child), free (ages 2 and younger). 2. MoMixer: Mini-Comp at Momentum Indoor Climbing - Katy


The climbing gym hosts this community event to help climbers meet other hobbyists. Participants are sorted into random teams and make a circuit of the gym. 7 p.m. Free (members), $20 (nonmembers).
