Flood Recovery Training
The Harvey Housing Recovery Project, a nonprofit organization founded after Tropical Storm Harvey caused damage to thousands of homes in the Katy area, hosts a training this weekend in the Canyon Gate Subdivision for those who are trying to repair their homes after Harvey. Training includes how to install insulation, sheetrock and corner bead as well as spraying to remediate mold. Registration is required in advance, and attendees can register at www.harveyhousingrecovery.org/training. An exact street address will be emailed to trainees once they have registered.
