The Neighborhood Market Walmart on Westheimer Parkway and Falcon Landing Boulevard in Katy closed March 10.

According to corporate officials, the store located at 24919 Westheimer Parkway closed due to its financial performance. The Neighborhood Market concept is one-fifth the size of Walmart Supermarkets and is typically located in more urban areas. This iteration of the concept had a fuel station in addition to the storefront.

The Neighborhood Market Walmart at 20903 Highland Knolls Drive in Katy will remain open. www.walmart.com
