GOGO Charters, a ground transportation bus service, will begin offering a new way to travel around the Houston region and state this year.

The big picture

The daily charter bus routes aim to provide alternatives to driving, air and rail travel while serving as a sustainable travel option, a company spokesperson previously said.

The spokesperson said the new routes include stops along the Texas triangle region, including Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, San Antonio and Corpus Christi.

Company officials announced the three Houston-area stops include:
  • Courtyard Houston Katy Mills: 25402 Katy Mills Parkway, Katy
  • Marriott Marquis Houston: 1777 Walker St., Houston
  • The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center: 1601 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands

“It’s really just to enhance connectivity throughout the region [by] leveraging these larger cities as our hubs and trying to extend outwards,” the company spokesperson said.

Riders will be able to book routes through a mobile app with rides beginning at $10 and will go up in price depending on the distance traveled, the company spokesperson said. Each bus is equipped with reclining seats, Wi-Fi and onboard restrooms.

Looking ahead

Houston-area routes are set to be running by mid-summer, the company spokesperson said.
