The big picture
At an April 28 meeting, Katy City Council approved two professional services agreements—totaling $234,900—with Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc. for nearly $1.6 million in sports fields and drainage improvements at Katy City Park, located at 5850 Franz Road.
The contracts, funded by the fiscal year 2024-25 capital improvement project budget, include project management, construction documents, project bidding and construction phase services, per agenda documents. The project will still need to go to construction bidding and City Council approval for a contractor.
