Families and friends are encouraged to attend the marketplace to find unique gifts and decor for holiday festivities. All shopping takes place indoors, and features of the event include photoshoots with Santa and concessions on the second floor of the venue.
Shoppers can buy totes, insulated tumblers and dated ornaments to commemorate their attendance at the market. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door, and the event is free for children age 12 and younger.
According to the Home for the Holidays website, the foundation behind the gift market was established in 2008 and has since donated over $360,000 to charities and organizations across the Houston metro. These include contributions to food pantries, assistance for women and children, and rehabilitation needs in communities such as Katy, Rosenberg, Spring and Humble.
