The eatery offered a number of barbecue options including beef brisket, ribs, sausage and pulled pork, alongside various side options such as pinto beans and potato salad, according to its website.
The barbecue restaurant, located in the Katy Boardwalk District, has earned a number of accolades including being named a Top 50 BBQ joint by Texas Monthly in 2021, according to the post.
Looking ahead
Although the brick-and-mortar location will close, officials said they will still consider catering opportunities that align with operational capacity and will participate in the Houston Rodeo Cookoff as scheduled.
Additionally, the eatery will host a final New Year’s Eve bash on Dec. 31 from 7 p.m.-1 a.m., featuring a buffet and drinks. Tickets are on sale for $140 online.
