99 Favor Taste Hot Pot and BBQ to open in Katy Asian Town

The Katy eatery will feature five private rooms for groups of 10 people or more, and it will provide customers a free birthday meal with proof of identification, Le said. It will also serve alcoholic beverages.

The backstory

Le visited the New York business when living in New Jersey, she said. After moving to Cypress in 2021 following the COVID-19 pandemic, she said she craved the large menu offered at 99 Favor Taste.

“I managed to call the owner of the chain and convinced him to expand it in Texas,” she said in an email. “So, here it is, to satisfy my craving as well as to share the new and exciting all-you-can-eat chain to Katy for everyone to enjoy.”

In the future, Le said she hopes to expand 99 Favor Taste to other areas in Houston and other states.
