Chama Gaúcha Brazilian Steakhouse has opened its second Greater Houston location in Katy, restaurant officials announced in a Sept. 14 news release.
The Katy location joins the brand’s Galleria location, which opened in 2011.
On the menu
The restaurant centers on tableside service of carving open-flame grilled meat including unlimited servings of beef, lamb, pork, chicken and Brazilian sausage right in front of customers, Community Impact previously reported.
The eatery also offers unlimited servings of side dishes including caramelized bananas, garlic mashed potatoes, fried polenta and Brazilian cheese bread.
Beyond tableside service, Chama Gaúcha also features a salad bar with over 30 items including cheeses and charcuterie.
What they’re saying
“We’ve welcomed guests from Katy at our Westheimer location for many years, so it’s especially exciting to now welcome them here in their own community,” General Manager Guilherme Da Silva said. “From the design of the restaurant to the cuisine and tableside service, we created a setting where guests can enjoy the authentic Chama Gaúcha experience whether they’re joining us for dinner, a celebration or a special event.”
Also of note
The Katy location also features five private dining rooms accommodating groups from 20 to 150, per the release.
