A Houston-based company that specializes in food waste diversion, Moonshot Compost, relocated to a larger industrial space at 1410 Bigelow St., Houston.

According to the May 3 press release, the move will contribute to the growth of the company, allowing for additional residential and commercial customers who are interested in sustainable solutions for kitchen food waste.

According to the website, the company has a goal of teaching the community how to return nutrients to the soil. Moonshot Compost offers home pickup and drop-off composting options. The company also helps offices and restaurants compost by managing details of set-aside items, the website said.

A Diversion Dashboard is available to residential Moonshot Compost subscribers. According to the release, views to personalized composting totals, impacts of items saved, progress comparison and the ability to share information on social media are included in the dashboard. 713-955-0011. www.moonshotcompost.com
