Sept. 8-17: Check out a new health exhibit

Trillions of microbes make their homes inside human bodies and a new exhibit aims to introduce guests to the complex world inside humans. Guests at the new interactive exhibit “Zoo in You” can learn about microbial companions, where they live and what ways scientists are discovering how important they are to personal health.

Sept. 9: Go fishing

The city of Conroe will host a kid fishing derby that will involve a hands-on fishing experience. Participants may use their own fishing gear; however, limited poles and bait will be available. Trophies will be awarded. The derby is open to children ages 16 and younger.
