To commemorate this milestone, chef and owner Troy Guard, and executive chef Adam Vero have curated a lineup of celebrity chefs to host a dining experience the night of Nov. 20 from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Tickets to the anniversary event cost $96, which includes $75 for admission and $21 in fees, according to the event's landing page.The 15,000-square-foot, glass-enclosed restaurant located at the One Allen Center mixed-use development is Guard's first venture outside of Denver, Colorado, per the release. The eatery features "miles of fiery grills," charcuterie, an oyster bar and a walk-in, floor-to-ceiling glass wine cellar.
The ticketed event will also dedicate 25% of sales to Houston-based nonprofit Southern Smoke Foundation, which addresses mental health costs and provides resources to workers in the food and beverage industry who are in crisis, according to the organization's website.
The featuresInvited celebrity chefs will showcase their talent by crafting a variety of passed appetizers at the standing-room-only event. The night will also feature crafted beverages and a lively atmosphere, according to the invitation.
Featured chefs are subject to change, but currently include:
- Pitmaster Quy Hoang and his partners Robin and Terry Wong from Blood Brothers BBQ
- Chef Aaron Bludorn, executive chef at Bludorn
- Chef Drake Leonards, executive chef at Eunice
- Chef Bobby Matos, chef at State of Grace
- Chef Tristen Epps, James Beard Award-nominated chef and Chopped champion
