Called SOSH Coffees + Cocktails, the cafe offers freshly brewed coffee options using beans from the Houston-based coffee roaster Rivas. The venue will not immediately offer cocktail service, which is expected to begin in late summer, according to a May 23 news release.
Drink options in the meantime include juices, lattes, Americanos, cappuccinos and espresso, among others. Food options are available for purchase at SOSH from nearby vendors, including croissants from Love Croissants, fresh charcuterie plates, pizzas, salads and sandwiches, according to the release.
Guests of the cafe can use drive-up spots for pickup orders, and a bike rack at the site is meant to cater to neighbors and visitors to the nearby Buffalo Bayou Park.
The venue is open from Tuesdays-Saturdays from 7 a.m.-1 p.m., though officials said they are seeking collaborations with chefs and mixologists as they explore opportunities for evening pop-up events to be hosted in the bar area, the demo kitchen, the private dining room, or an outdoor space featuring a pizza oven and grill.
“We are particularly excited about the specialty programming that will further engage and spotlight notable and up-and-coming talent in the hospitality community,” Vero Sade co-founder Dan Bassichis said in a statement.
