The concept will build on the cafe's current to-go efforts, offering its fresh-baked baked cookies and pastries along with to-go friendly breakfast, lunch and dinner selections. The new location will include indoor seating and an expanded patio in anticipation of relaxed COVID-19 restrictions down the line.
“Meeting the needs of our customers, employees and community is our single focus right now. They are all a part of the Common Bond family, and they need us,” owner George Joseph said in a news release.
The concept could become a much larger extension of the Common Bond brand.
“Eventually, our goal is to have ‘On-the-Go’s all around the city,” Common Bond President Chris Fannin said. “It’s a concept of ultimate convenience, while also maintaining superb quality. Customers will be able to pick up their coffee and croissant on the way to work, and a bottle of wine and baguette for dinner on the way home.” www.commonbondcafe.com
