Houston Community College cancels classes, activities due to possibility of flooding


Houston Community College officials have announced classes and activities are canceled through Sept. 18 due to heavy rains and the possibility of flooding, according to a press release.

Students and faculty members are being asked to check email, text message and the HCC website for further updates and information.

Several counties in the Greater Houston area remain under a flash flood watch through 1 p.m. Sept. 18 due to Tropical Storm Imelda. For more information, click here.
