Construction on a Gessner Road extension could start as early as June 7 as Burnside Services Inc. was issued a notice to proceed with work. The scope of the project includes extending Gessner from West Road to Fallbrook Drive as a four-lane concrete boulevard with drainage accommodations.
Funded by Harris County Precinct 4, the project is estimated to cost $10.3 million.
